DEPUTY HEADTEACHER

Overview

The children, staff and governing body of Warrington St Ann’s CE Primary School are seeking to appoint a dedicated, dynamic and inspirational Deputy Headteacher to work in partnership with the Headteacher in the strategic leadership and development of our school.
We are looking for an outstanding practitioner, who is also a determined and ambitious leader with the ability to share, model and demonstrate the key characteristics of highly effective learning and teaching to continue to improve standards for all children in our school.
As Deputy Headteacher, you will be expected to lead positively by example and
professionally inspire and develop others to be the best they can be for the benefit of our
children across all phases. Successful candidates must have previous proven experience of
successful senior leadership and be able to provide challenge, rigour and strategic direction.

  • Has experience of leading teams of staff effectively
  • Ability to motivate and inspire colleagues, promoting high aspirations for all
  • Has excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to establish positive working relationships with colleagues, children, their families and the wider community, through modelling high levels of professionalism, commitment and integrity.
  • Believes passionately in the role of a Church of England School and lives out the Gospel Values in their day-today life.
  • Is committed to promoting and developing the Christian distinctiveness of our school
  • Is adaptable and resilient
  • Has the energy, compassion and perseverance to lead and see whole school projects through to a successful conclusion
  • Can utilise a range of leadership styles successfully to achieve the best outcomes when working with a range of people in our school community
  • Is committed to the safeguarding, welfare and wellbeing of children and staff
